How are you?

It's a question that we ask each other on a regular basis. Probably daily if not several times a day. And the answer is so often "fine" or "good" or "great" or even "ok". Even if we're feeling rubbish. We feel the need to 'put on a brave face' or pretend that we're fine. And often we tell ourselves that we're fine too - even if in our heart, we know that "fine" isn't true.

Coaching can help us to reveal our true feeling to ourselves, in a safe space. Being honest with yourself is essential to start your coaching journey, to find the happiness that you desire and to fulfil your potential in whatever way you choose.

Where are you?

Are you, like many people, seeking coaching because you're stuck. It could be in your life, your career, your project, your business, your relationship with your boss, colleague, your children or your partner or neighbour. When you're stuck it can result in friction, misunderstandings, frustration and unhappiness.

Coaching can help you to understand what's keeping you stuck. It can help you to move forward in whatever way is the best way for you. Coaching doesn't present you with ready made answers. There's no cure-all. Coaching helps you to find your own answers. Answers that are tailor made by you and for you because you're unique and only you know what's truly right for you.

What's going well for you?

It's so important to recognise what's working for you at the moment. Let's cherish the good and only seek to change what's not good. This is our starting point. It's human nature to take the good for granted and to focus on the negative things that are affecting us.

Coaching can help you to check out and recognise all the positives in you life - the things that you value and cherish. So you know what works and you can then concentrate on changing the things that you'd like to be different.

What would you like to be different?

Everyone has their own preferences, their likes and dislikes based on a lifetime of unique experiences combined with their personal values and beliefs. And knowing what you know about you, you can identify what isn't working for you and what you'd like to be different. But it isn't always that easy. That's where coaching comes to the rescue.

Coaching can help you to discover what you really want. It can help you to find your path to achieving that wish, in whatever way works for you.
